My passion even at an early age was ART.
My mother knew that I was sure to be on the mend when she presented me with coloring books and crayons during my childhood illnesses.
One of my earliest creations was a plaster of Paris "Horse's head". You would have thought my creation was a "Remington". Well, it was a treasured piece to me.
My passion for photography developed into photo greeting cards and my creation of greeting cards grew into transfer collage, paper making, and Sumi Brush Art. I also love painting ceramics, working with found objects for collage and graphic design. I do laser engraving and use my laser as an art tool to create all kinds of innovative artistic designs. Except for a few classes, I am primarily self- taught.
I have been designing jewelry and making my own glass beads for the past 7 years. I hope to continue on a limited basis.
Creating art pieces bring joy into my life. It is my prayer, my meditation. Although I am somewhat limited in the quantity of items I can make due to health restrictions, I will continue to put my heart and soul into the every creation.
