	About the Artist


	My passion, even at an early age, was ART. My mother knew that I was sure to be on the mend when she presented me with coloring books and crayons during my childhood illnesses. One of my earliest creations, at the age of six was a plaster Horse's head. You would have thought my creation was a Remington. Well, it was a treasured piece to me.








	My passion for photography developed into making greeting cards. My creation of greeting cards grew into Calligraphy, Sumi Brush art, papermaking, photography and transfer collage. And so on and so on....I am an artist who enjoys working in a variety of media. Except for a few night school classes, I am self taught.

I moved from the east coast to the state of Washington in 1997. I think that the new direction my life was taking and the fact that I was entering my “Middle Age” allowed me to prioritize what was important to me.

I started to design jewelry and I really wanted to do something unique with my creations. My goal was to make my designs distinctive. I wanted them to be timeless and something that could be past down from mother to daughter. I think that is what inspired me to create my own glass beads.

I soon will be creating every component of my jewelry as I have just learned how to fabricate metal.

I might as well admit it………..I’m addicted to ART!
